Our clients had build their home along an overland flow path that ran over what used to be a small stream, which has since been built over. Because of this, their home's engineering is made to withstand severe weather events. We wanted to honour that with this design of an updated outdoor space with monumental floating steps to represent river stones that had been deposited over time.
